DESCRIPTION:JOIN US for our next peaceful protest at the Oceanside Civic Center on May 13\, 20 and 27.\nNOTE: In June\, starting Wednesday\, June 5\, we will gather from 5 to 6:30 pm. Our hope is that we may get people to join us after work\, and it may even be a bit cooler. \n\n  \n\nWe gather to let people know that what is happening in our country is not right with the hope that more people will WAKE UP.\n\nWe gather to let those who are being dehumanized and targeted by Trump and his minions are not fogotten and not alone. We stand with them and for them acknowledging the their worth and dignity.\n\nWe gather to let our leaders\, local and national\, that we care\, we want compassionate policies\, and we are not going anywhere until things change.\n\n\n\nNOTE: ICE activity is picking up again in North County. Keep your eyes open for ICE/CBP vehicles. Remember\, whistles and phones can make a difference.\n  \n\n\n\n\n \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:We are gathering at the Otay Mesa ICE Detention Protest\, 7488 Calzada de la Fuente\, San Diego\, on Sunday\, June 14\, from 1:30 PM to 3:15 PM. \nWe gather to remind those being detained that they are not forgotten and to demonstrate our resistance to this treatment of people who live and work in our country. \nThis has been a weekly protest for months\, and on June 14\, we will make it the largest gathering the detention center has ever seen. \nPlease bring water\, a hat and a sign. \n
