DESCRIPTION:We are returning to Carlsbad for our second No Kings protest. We encourage you to carpool and arrive early. \nWe will be joining a growing number of people across the country who are choosing to Stand Up\, Show Up & Speak Up on behalf of democracy\, those being put at risk (Medicaid\, SNAP\, VA cuts)\, against ruling by edict\, the disappearing of people by ICE\, and the dehumanization of our families and neighbors. \nThese are peaceful protests. Please\, I know it can be difficult\, but don’t engage with those seeking to disrupt or argue with our protest. Instead\, contact one of the people of peace. Additionally\, getting people to chant can be very effective too. I have seen love\, not hate\, make America great work well. \nPlease join us on October 18 and help us get the word out.
