This has been a heavy week for all of us.
Mothers and families should all be given the chance to start this new year with the promise of a safe and dignified future. Instead, we’re all mourning the loss of yet more community members taken from us at the hands of federal immigration enforcement officers.
We invite all our community members across North County San Diego to a Community Candlelight Vigil to say: No more violence, no more detention and no more ICE. We’ll be holding space to remember those who have been killed by ICE and who have died while in ICE custody.

Candles will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you wish. A community altar will be displayed and we welcome you to bring items if you would like to partake in the altar.
We hope to see you all Sunday and collectively hold this space in remembrance of our brothers, sisters, and siblings who have lost their lives to the injustice of ICE’s practices.
